Using the demo?
This site is the Cloister template, shown with a fictional club called Thornmere so you can see how it all fits together. Everything you can read — the club, the fees, the events, the reciprocal houses — is sample content, there for you to replace with your own. Four steps will take you from demo to live.

Make it yours in four steps

Find where the content lives
Almost all the words and pictures on this site come from the CMS collections — membership tiers, spaces, events, reciprocal houses — and from the page content. Edit those and the site updates everywhere. Start there rather than in the layout.

Swap the photos
Replace the demo images with your own. Keep to the same shapes and crops the template uses, so the layouts stay balanced. The fonts that ship with the template are licence-safe to publish; if you change them, check your own font’s licence first.

Point the forms at your inbox
The application, private-hire and contact forms are wired to the demo. Connect them to your own email or form service so enquiries actually reach you, then send yourself a test through each one.

Make it yours
Change the club name, the address, the hours, the fees and the tone until it reads like your house and not ours. Work through every page, and remember to delete this Go-live page before you publish.
YOUR OWN DOMAIN

Go live on your own domain
To publish on your own web address rather than a Framer subdomain, you’ll need a custom domain connected to a paid Framer site plan. The template itself runs happily on Framer’s Basic plan while you build. When you’re ready for your own domain, upgrade the site in Framer and follow their steps to connect it.

Before you publish
Replace every mention of Thornmere, No. 9 Calder Row and the sample phone and email with your own.
Set your real membership tiers, fees and joining fees on the membership page.
Swap all demo photos for your own, keeping the template’s shapes and crops.
Send a test through the application, private-hire and contact forms.
Rewrite the privacy and terms pages to match how you really work.
Update the events, spaces and reciprocal houses to your own.
Check every page on a phone as well as a desktop.
